University of Arkansas at Monticello Board of Visitors

Act 1196 passed by the 84th General Assembly established a Board of Visitors for the University of Arkansas at Monticello consisting of 12 members to be appointed by the Governor. In 2017, Act 1006 removed the appointment authority from the Governor and the Board of Visitors are now recommended by the Chancellor and approved by the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees. These members serve as advisors to the Chancellor.
