UAM is hosting a new FALL 2025 Career Expo!
(This is in addition to the regular Spring Career Expo.) It will be held Wednesday, October 22, from 11 a.m.--2 p.m. in the John F. Gibson University Center (UC) Green Room on the UAM Campus.
Registration is now open for Employers and UAM students.

The UAM Spring 2026 Career Expo is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2026, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the John F. Gibson University Center Green Room. Ever wonder what would be the best college major for YOU? -What Career path you should invest in?
Is it what's popular, what makes the most money, or what your family wants you to be? Why not approach it logically and according to your unique combination of interests, abilities and personality? -->
Focus 2 Career is a series of short self-assessments that evaluate one's interests, skills, personality and values and combines them into career pathways that would best align with one's lifestyle. View selected occupations, necessary levels of education, and degree plans UAM offers for pursuing each pathway. These assessments can be done at any time and at no cost to any UAM student. They can be saved and returned to at any time, and even re-taken if needed. There is no requirement to follow the recommendations. It is simply a helpful educational tool for making educational and career choices. Please contact Career Services for guidance regarding the career counseling process at 870-460-1454 or 870-460-1453.
