The University of Arkansas Monticello Testing Center offers a facility and the personnel
to administer UAM and Non-UAM exams during its regular hours of operation, Monday
through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (unless otherwise specified/arranged). In order
to provide the most efficient and consistent services to our students, the UAM Testing
Center must be provided with specific exam details related to the instructions, conditions,
dates under which examinations are to be administered, and any additional information
requested. It is extremely important that all faculty utilizing the UAM Testing Center
provide timely and accurate exam information to ensure exam integrity.
It is the instructor's responsibility to give accurate and complete information to
the UAM Testing Center 48 hours in advance. If the exam request form is not completed, students will not be able to make appointments
with the UAM Testing Center. Paper exams larger than the upload allowed size must
be delivered to the center by the instructor (Please note the Testing Center Exam Request Form must be completed).
Completed paper exams and scantrons must be picked up by the instructor. If the exam
needs to be mailed to an institution, it is the instructor's responsibility to provide
postage for the delivery.
It is the student's responsibility to schedule an appointment with the UAM Testing
Center 24 hours in advance. Appointments secure a time for students to test. Walk ins will be allowed to test
if the center is available, but not guaranteed.
ALL Students must provide a valid form of identification on the day of the exam. Non-UAM
Students are required to pay a $20.00 testing fee to the UAM Cashier's Office on the
day of their first exam with the UAM Testing Center and provide a receipt as proof
of payment. Additional exams taken by Non-UAM students within the same semester must
pay a $10.00 testing fee per exam. It is the instructor's responsibility to inform
their student of this policy. The request form is only applicable for the UAM-Monticello
Campus. Proctored exams for the McGehee campus and Crossett campus must be coordinated
with their respective testing services.
Availability: Online exams are offered on an as needed basis. It is the students' responsibility
to register with the UAM Testing Office to take an proctored exam. The time and date
of testing must be scheduled in advance.
Time Required: The time allowed for each specific exam is designated by the instructor or sponsoring
institution. Students should contact their instructor/institution prior to the test
date to know time allotments and if books and notes are allowed.
Important Note: Photo ID is required on test date. It is the student's responsibility to meet the
requirements and deadlines proposed by the instructor or sponsoring institution.
