Bio:
Dr. Adam Crane is an Assistant Professor of Biology here at UAM. He is also the Director
of the Turner Neal Museum of Natural History.
“I teach Zoology, Ichthyology, Herpetology, Aquatic Biology, and their associated
laboratories.”
“My research interests are in animal ecology, particularly the behavioral, cognitive,
and evolutionary ecology of predator/prey interactions in aquatic systems. I primarily
work with fishes and amphibians.”
“My favorite part of this job is teaching students about the sophistication of animal
behavior and taking my classes on field trips so students can get hands-on experience
with animals in the natural environment.”
