You are considered a returning student if you previously attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello and have been away for one or more semesters and are now planning to re-enroll.

This includes students who may have:

• Taken a break from their studies
• Left before completing a degree program
• Previously attended UAM and wish to return in the same or a different program

To begin the readmission process, returning students should:

1. Complete the admission application (no processing fee)
2. Submit your final high school transcript
3. Submit updated information if any changes have occurred since your last enrollment
4. Submit entrance exam scores (ACT, SAT, or ACCUPLACER) or completion of college course work in Reading, English, and Math.
5. Provide transcripts from any other institutions attended since leaving UAM ((2.00 and good academic/financial standing required for unconditional admission.)
6. Resolve any outstanding holds or requirements on your student account that may delay or hinder registration
7. Connect with an academic advisor for degree planning and course selection

Once readmitted, you will work with an academic advisor to review your progress toward your degree and determine the best path forward. This may include:

• Activate your UAM student account
• Complete your New Student Onboarding in Workday
• Evaluating previously completed coursework
• Updating your degree plan
• Selecting appropriate courses for your return term
• Identifying any remaining graduation requirements

• Admission status and requirements may vary depending on your academic history and length of absence
• Some programs may have updated requirements since your last enrollment
• Early contact with an advisor is strongly encouraged to ensure a smooth transition back
