Welcome to the University of Arkansas at Monticello Admissions page for first-time freshmen! If you are a high school student who is preparing to graduate or have recently graduated and have not attended another college or university since high school, you are considered a first-time freshman.
Starting your college journey is an exciting step, and we are here to help you every step of the way. From applying for admission to registering for classes, our goal is to make your transition to college as smooth and straightforward as possible.
Becoming a student at UAM is simple. Follow these steps to begin your journey:
- Complete your admission application (no processing fee)
- Submit your 7-semester high school transcript and official transcripts from any colleges you have previously attended (Early Admissions).
- Submit your official high school transcript
- Provide standardized test scores (if required or optional for your term)
- Submit your Immunization records against measles, mumps, and rubella (two doses)
- Apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA
- Explore scholarship opportunities
- Activate your student account once admitted
All required documents should be submitted through your admissions application portal
Once you’ve applied, our admissions team will review your application and follow up with any additional steps needed. After you are admitted, you will receive information about next steps including activating your UAM student account, completing your New Student Onboarding in Workday, orientation, advising, and class registration.
