UAM Hosts "Dinner and Dollars" Event For Area School District Educators and Staff

MONTICELLO, AR - Understanding credit, college savings plans, investing and retirement planning are the subjects of "Dinner and Dollars," a workshop and dinner for area K-12 educators and school district staff to be hosted by the University of Arkansas at Monticello's School of Business April 5. The event will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Conference Room A of the Taylor Library and Technology Center.

UAM To Host 12th Annual Boll Weevil Stampede April 5-7

MONTICELLO, Ark. - More than 250 rodeo cowboys and cowgirls from 14 colleges and universities will compete at the 12th annual Boll Weevil Stampede hosted by the University of Arkansas at Monticello April 5-7.

Wind Symphony and Concert Band Free Performance Rescheduled For March 13

MONTICELLO, AR - A free public concert by the University of Arkansas at Monticello Wind Symphony and Concert Band has been rescheduled for March 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the UAM Fine Arts Center auditorium. The concert was originally scheduled for March 1 but was rescheduled due to flooding in the region.

John Davis Appointed By Governor To Arkansas Rural Development Commission

MONTICELLO, AR - Dr. John Davis, director of university relations and assistant professor of political science at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, has been appointed by Governor Asa Hutchinson to a five-year term on the 11-member Arkansas Rural Development Commission (ARDC).

Scholarship Deadline Is March 1

MONTICELLO, AR - Prospective and current students who plan to apply for either institutional or private scholarships to attend the University of Arkansas at Monticello during the 2018 fall semester should do so by March 1, according to Tawana Greene, executive director of admissions and enrollment management.
