INSTALL MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS

UAM students have the option to load Microsoft software on 5 personal machines for school-related activities. 

  1. Login to your UAM Email
  2. Click on Office 365 (top left corner of page)

Install Office on your PC, smartphone, or iPad information will display; you can now install Office products.

Password Assistant- Passwords expire EVERY 90 days!

DOMAIN ACCOUNT

Domain/Email accounts are assigned to employees when a Authorization form is received.  This grants you access to login to your desktop PC, UAM Email, WeevilNet employee information, UAM’s wireless network (Wifi-Secure), and other software on campus.  Extensions to domain accounts can be granted when an Authorization Extension form is received.

COMPUTER LAB/ SMART ROOM SOFTWARE UPLOAD

Requests for lab software must be submitted to the person responsible for managing the lab/smart room.  This person will decide if the request is in alignment with the goals and strategies of the resource that they manage.  Requests submitted after the deadline will be treated by the IT dept. as a project, and will be completed as soon as possible.

For Instructors

Showing movies in class and to groups

In most cases you will need permission to show movies. Usually there is a fee involved in obtaining permission. Companies’ such as Swank Motion Pictures can be used in obtaining permission for some movies. They also provide some useful information on copyright and showing movies at universities.
