How to Apply

You will first need to fill out an application for admission.  This can be picked up at UAM College of Technology - McGehee, or at UAM.  You may also apply online at https://www.uamont.edu/forms/admissions/admissionsform2.asp

The next step is to take our pre-enrollment test.  This test will help us learn more about you and how we can help you.  (See Asset Test Dates for more details on testing procedures.)

What you will need for Full Admission to UAM College of Technology - McGehee:

  • Complete UAM Admission Application
  • Complete high school transcript*
  • Transcripts from all colleges attended
  • Test Scores (ACT, SAT, or ASSET)
  • Immunization records**
  • Selective Service Status

*Transcripts must be sent directly to UAM from your high school or college.  

**Proof of immunization against measles and rubella is required of applicants born on or after January 1, 1957.

Because of high demand of certain career areas, some of our programs have more applicants than openings.  Guidelines for admitting students for these programs have been established and are available in our Student Services Department at 222-5360 or 1-800-747-5360.
