Mission

The mission of the Division of Computer Information Systems is to support the mission of the University of Arkansas at Monticello by focusing on the undergraduate educational needs of computer information system students in southeast Arkansas and the region. The Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems is designed to prepare students to assume dynamic roles as analysts and designers who will provide the professional insight required for building the information systems of the future.

CIS Recognizes May 2009 Chancellor's List members

Congratulations are extended to Jake A. Hayden, Monticello, AR, and Michael B. Howard, Linden, TX, on their academic excellence by making the Chancellor's List. Chancellor's List qualification requires a semester grade point of 4.0 for 12 or more hours of course work at the 1000-4000 level.

CIS Recognizes May 2009 Dean's List members

Congratulations are extended to Curtis A. Crum, Hamburg, AR; Calvin Davis Jr., Monticello, AR; Kenneth C. Gage, Monticello, AR; Christopher C. Morrow, Hamburg, AR; and Ashley V. Smith, Pine Bluff, AR; on their academic excellence by making the Dean's List. Dean's List qualification requires a semester grade point of 3.50 or higher for 12 or more hours of course work at the 1000-4000 level.
