Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Financial Assistance
- Designed to provide training for adults who are unemployed
or underemployed
- Applicants must show financial need and ability to benefit
- Covers tuition, fees, books, and possibly other support services
- Arkansas residents may contact the Arkansas Workforce Center
in the county in which they reside (for Ashley county residents,
the local Workforce Center office is located at 304 N. Alabama
in Crossett (870-304-2312).
- Louisiana residents should contact the One-Stop Center in
the parish in which they reside
