The mission of UAM Intramurals and Recreation is to provide support to the development and well-being of the members of the university community (students, faculty, and staff) through participation and involvement in a variety of competitive intramural sports and special events as well as recreational activities that promote the productive use of leisure time while providing diverse opportunities for the development of social, emotional, educational, occupational, and physical lifetime skills.

Intramurals

The Intramural program provides an opportunity for all current UAM students, faculty & staff to participate competitively in a wide variety of sports and special events. Some restrictions apply to current & former intercollegiate team members.

Applicants must be knowledgeable in sports field, reliable, prompt, honest, and able to exhibit self confidence. Experience and CPR certification preferred for officials and area attendants.
