| Formatting Your Articles |

Your article of at least 750 words should be typed in 12-point Times Roman font with double-spacing, a three-space paragraph indent and aligned left. It will contain the following:

written on assigned topic
-
written in inverted pyramid style
- written in Associated Press style
- lede of no more than 35 words
- quote by the third paragraph
- NO first person
- at least two human sources (no close friends, significant others or roommates)
- end the body with either -30- or ###, as shown below.
- full names and telephone numbers (or urls) of ALL sources
You should always save your document in Rich Text Format (RTF). This will allow it to be read in multiple machines should you have a problem printing. Make sure your article is submitted by
deadline.
