   The Student Athlete Advisory Committee sold Orange Crush Grams the week before Valentine’s Day to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.  The Fundraiser raised over $300.

   “We believe that we were very successful in the fundraiser and are looking into doing more throughout the semester,” said Sarah Reed, a member of the softball team and a SAAC representative.

   The SAAC, made up of representatives from the university’s sports teams, raised money for the Make-A-Wish foundation as part of the Gulf-South Conference.

   The Orange Crush Grams, a Valentine’s gift, sold for $2. Students wishing to send them anonymously paid an extra dollar. Students wanting to find who the identity of their anonymous “Crush” paid an extra $2. 

   Over 100 students and faculty participated in the fundraiser.
