Dance Celebrates Pre-Madness

    The Student Activities Board threw a Pre-Midnight Madness celebration Oct. 14. The celebration consisted of a dance which was held in the Capital Room of the Gibson University Center from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Disc Jockey Entertainment provided the music, lights and fog system.

    "This dance is the first dance that the Student Board of Activities has ever thrown. The purpose was to keep students on campus for Midnight Madness," said Robin Barker, director of Student Programs and Organizations.

     The Student Activities Board handles the school events around campus and activities for the alumni. A list of events planned for this year always appears in student e-mail accounts.

   "I wish more students would have attended. The dee-jay was very good," said Jordan Thompson, a sophomore and member of the Student Activities Board.
