Okay, pretty standard press release first line. Did we grab you? It's
not going to be easy to transfer our enthusiasm, if you haven't walked a
mile in our jeans!
Like most people, when they first heard, we're making "jeans"…
Investors, Yawn. Advisers, Yawn. Manufacturing partners, Yawn. But, now
they all know, they're Commando Jeans. They love them. And, we are all,
truly excited !
Well, here goes…
First, the problems we had:
After years of lounging around the house in boxers for comfort, we
wanted to go out … and have that same comfort everywhere we went.
And, if you have ever pulled jeans on, with boxers, you know, you have
to reach down and smooth down the boxers to lay inside.
So, we got into the habit of not wearing underwear. And, liked it! But,
denim is not the softest material. And, like most pants, you have the
rough seams on the inside.
But, why not have the best of both worlds?
Ahh, the solution:
We took a pair of our favorite jeans to a tailor and asked them to sew a
pair of boxers inside. After a brief puzzled look, they said, "Hum, not
a bad idea."
We picked them up a few days later, and from the first instant we put
them on, we were amazed. Extremely comfortable and the cotton moves with
the denim ! So, no wandering material.
Whitney, our designer, was involved from the beginning. Even with the
first pair, we turned the boxers inside-out. This put the softer side of
the material against your skin. And with the boxer style lining, we
covered the denim and the rough seams.
Whitney has gone over ever aspect of our jeans: materials, stitching,
fit. All to provide the best product for the style conscious men that
want to be comfortable.
Now, we slip on our Commando Jeans, and we're good to go!
So yes, news about jeans ... might get a yawn. But, "Commando Jeans" ...
gets a Yeah!
