Media Services The University of Arkansas at Monticello will kick off the holiday season with its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony and a special appearance by Santa Claus on Monday, Nov. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in front of the John F. Gibson University Center. The ceremony is open to the public and begins at 5 p.m. with dinner in the University Center. Cost of the dinner is $7. UAM students with a meal plan will eat free. The ceremony will include a reading of the Christmas story and music by the Unity Choir. For more information, contact the Office of Student Affairs at (870) 460-1053.
