The University of Arkansas at Monticello is a four-year institution located in the southeast corner of Arkansas. UAM offers degrees in agriculture, business, computer information systems, education, forestry, mathematics, all applied sciences, music, nursing, all social sciences, humanities and some pre-professional studies. UAM is located 100 miles southeast of Little Rock, Arkansas, and 84 miles north of Monroe, Louisiana. Please contact the Admissions office to apply to UAM.

The Division of Music offers the Bachelor of Arts in Music and the Bachelor of Music Education degrees with emphases in voice, piano, band instruments, and jazz. The faculty are superbly trained musicians, and perform regularly as recitalists, church musicians, composers, conductors, symphony musicians, and as clinicians and judges throughout the region.  Both institutional and private scholarships are available for students, regardless of academic major. Scholarships are awarded by audition. Out-of-state tuition waivers may be granted to qualified students. Music scholarships may be given in addition to any academic scholarships.
