I am originally from Seattle, Washington, and have attended both the
University of Washington and Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. I
have been teaching at the University of Arkansas at Monticello since 2000.
Needless to say, living in the south has been a very novel experience for me.
I currently teach composition, literature, and philosophy courses in the
School of Arts and Humanities. I feel privileged to be able to share
in so many of the disciplines I love.
My wife, Angela, and my son and daughter, Ethan and Valerie, are also a very
important part of my life. They really deserve the top spot on my personal
interests page (to the right), but instead of going on about how wonderful they
are, I have
reserved that page solely for my "artistic" interests. To the right
are three links
to pages about me: my curriculum vita, my personal interests, and my favorite
links. Each of the pages describes a different aspect of my life.
Take a balanced approach and view all three.
