On his retirement as Professor and the first Chair of the Division of Computer Information Systems, Dr. James Roiger established the James Roiger Endowed Scholarship for CIS Majors in July, with matching funds from the UAM foundation. 2008
In honor to his parents, Dr. James Roiger established the Raymond O. and Loretta J. Roiger Endowed Small Scholarship Fund for Chi Iota Sigma, the CIS student organization, in December, with matching funds from the UAM Foundation. 2006
