Study Abroad Program

Students of foreign languages have the opportunity to step out of the classroom and actively participate in the language learning process by means of UAM’s immersive study abroad program. Through total immersion, students both develop their language skills more naturally and gain a deeper appreciation for other cultures. Some of the benefits in studying abroad are be able to:

  • Earn up to 9 credit hours during the four week program.
  • Study at a professional language school in the host country for three weeks.
  • Live with and become part of a native family during your stay.
  • Witness authentic culture and nature on remarkable sight-seeing tours.
  • See exciting new locations with total immersion in the target language.
