Project Coordinator

The University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Technology of McGehee (www.uamont.edu) is seeking applicants for a Project Coordinator.

Responsibilities: The Project Coordinator works under administrative direction and supervision and is responsible for leading and conducting special research studies; monitoring and coordinating project/program activities; developing new projects as directed; independently manage the non-credit training classes including but not limited to production and distribution of communications, venue scheduling, and planning for large meetings; employing, supervising and evaluating faculty and staff; administering grants; scheduling training/classes; adhering to deadlines; maintaining inventory; coordinating strategic planning including Higher Learning Commission; preparing and submitting required applications, budgets, and reports; conducting staff professional development and managing day-to-day operations of the following programs; Public School Relations, Carl Perkins, Early Care and Education project, business and industry customized training, and the community training center. Must be highly organized, proactive and have very strong project management and multi-tasking skills.

Qualifications: A master’s degree is required (preferably in education or related field) with experience in an educational environment; strong interpersonal and excellent written communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with staff, faculty, and students; proficient computer skills; and be available for evening and weekend work as needed.
