RSO Handbook

The RSO Handbook is your go-to source for policies and procedures related to RSOs - as well as helpful guides and information. 

RSO Membership, Officers, and Advisor Report

This form is to be completed each semester in order for an organization to maintain recognized status. Please download the fillable roster at the link below. Once you have completed that, return to this form, fill it in, and upload your completed roster on Question #9. 

Room Reservation Form

This is an internal form for UAM students, faculty, and staff only. You will be prompted to enter your UAM credentials to access the form. If the initiator is requesting a room reservation for a student organization, it will route to the advisor for approval first, then to the room owner, then to University Reservations.

Event or Activity Registration

Please complete this form at least five (5) business days prior to the proposed date for the event or activity. All events and activities must adhere to all applicable policies in the RSO Handbook, Student Handbook, and any other applicable University or system-wide policies. Please see the Event & Activity Planning section of the RSO Handbook for more information. 

Fundraising Activity Registration

Please complete this form at least five (5) business days prior to the proposed date for the event or activity. RSOs may be permitted to hold fundraising events on and off-campus under the conditions outlined in the RSO Handbook, Student Handbook, and any other applicable University or system-wide policies.

Weekly RSO Email Request

Submit this form by 3 PM on Friday to be included in Sunday evening's Weekly RSO Email.  You are encouraged to submit a graphic or digital flyer to be included in the email. If possible, submit both final and editable versions of your graphics. 

Digital Signage Request

Please complete this form at least 24 hours prior to the proposed date for the digital signage to be displayed. Use of digital signage may be requested for a maximum of fourteen (14) days prior to an event or awareness day sponsored by the RSO. Image to be displayed must include the name of the sponsoring RSO, the date, time, location, and contact for the event, and be submitted in 1920x1080 widescreen aspect ratio. If possible, submit both final and editable versions of your graphics.

Banner Posting Request

Please complete this form at least five (5) business days prior to the proposed date for the banner(s) to be posted. Banners announcing a date-specific event may be posted up to fourteen (14) days prior to the event; banners must be removed within one business day after the event.

Advisor Selection or Change Request

Complete this form in order to select or change the advisor for your RSO. Once submitted, the previous advisor (if applicable) will be notified and the proposed advisor and the appropriate Executive Council member will approve or deny the request.

Request for Academic Facility

Please submit this completed document to the appropriate office for verification of availability and reservation of facility before arranging an event.
