UAM Residence Halls

We are proud of what on-campus housing offers to our students. Whether you want to live in one of our community residence halls, on-campus suite-style halls or on-campus apartments, we have something for you.

On-campus housing is consists of two traditional community residence halls – our Royer Hall (male only) and Horsfall Hall (female only); two co-ed suite-style halls – Maxwell Hall & Bankston Hall; and two apartment options  - one for students – the University Apartments – and one apartment community for married/ family students and faculty. Graduate Housing is also available for many of UAM’s graduate assistant positions.

For more information about a specific residence hall or on-campus apartment, please select the building of your choice below.

Rates information

The semester and yearly rates for living in a residence hall at University of Arkansas at Monticello depend on the residence hall/ apartment you select. Suite-style & apartment-style buildings are more expensive than the room-style options. Also, rates vary within a building depending on the type of room and meal plan you select.

The contract rates can be paid either by semester or by monthly payment plan, with arrangements with Cashier’s office). Regardless of payment option, housing contracts are for both per semester for residence halls and per year for apartments.
