The Nursing Assistant (NA) course focuses on providing knowledge and skills specific to nursing assistant duties. Students will be provided classroom, applied lab, and clinical training in long-term health care facilities. Students who successfully complete the NA course are eligible to take the skills and written examination that leads to Arkansas State Certification. Those students who successfully become certified are placed on the State Registry as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
