Health Professions

The Health Professions Technical Certificate is designed to provide successful students with  instruction that assists in mastery of core knowledge and skills to provide the foundation for various health professions.                           

Students exiting the program with a technical certificate in Health Professions may go directly into the healthcare support workforce as nursing assistants, emergency medical technicians, community health workers or phlebotomists (depending on emphasis chosen); or continue on for advanced training and education.  Students successfully completing the Health Professions program may continue on to pursue an Associate of Applied Science Degree in General Technology.
