The University of Arkansas-Monticello IMA Student Chapter is a chapter of excellence. IMA Student Chapter was founded to teach relevant career development skills, facilitate experimental learning and employment opportunities for the students at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Our mission is accomplished by teachings, research, artistic creation, professional practice and selected forms of public service.
Our first priority as IMA leaders is the education of our students, from freshmen to master students, through the broad array of academic, professional, extracurricular and athletic programs of top ranks. We strive constantly for excellence in teaching knowledge and skills to our students, while at the same time helping them to acquire wisdom and insight, love of truth and beauty, moral discernment, understanding of self, and respect and appreciation for others.
The IMA Student Chapter at the University of Arkansas at Monticello is not only an organization that teaches the mind, but also the spirit

On Saturday, April 19th the IMA students participated in our 6th annual Easter egg hunt for the Arkansas Baptist Children's Home (ABC). ABC is an organization that provides housing for approximately 50 foster children between the ages of 3 and 18. According to Chairperson Melissa Stewart "The event was a huge success. The children had a great time dying the eggs and then hunting eggs later in the day." Each child receives a basket of "goodies" including a t-shirt to mark the event, some prizes, and candy. This is an event that all of our members enjoy participating in. We are already looking forward to the 2015 Easter egg hunt!
The IMA student group participates in the Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Arkansas Special Olympics. Every year a sponsor and some members will participate in the chilly adventure.
IMA also had a fun night, We went out to eat and also had an awesome time bowling.
We also like to have great time and relax!
