DOMAIN ACCOUNT

Domain/Email accounts are assigned to employees when a Data Authorization form is received.  This grants you access to login to your desktop PC, UAM Email, WeevilNet employee information, UAM’s wireless network (Wifi-Secure), and other software on campus.  Extensions to domain accounts can be granted when an Authorization Extension form is received.

WORK ORDERS

For classroom problems, call the IT dept. 870 460 1036 for immediate assistance. 

For other computer related issues, enter an IT Work Order in our Track-IT system

  • SUMMARY FIELD: Name/ Room location/ Brief description of problem
  • CALL BACK NUMBER
  • TYPE
  • SUBTYPE
  • CATEGORY
  • NOTE: Description of all information concerning the reason for the work order

COMPUTER LAB/ SMART ROOM SOFTWARE UPLOAD

Requests for lab software must be submitted to the person responsible for managing the lab/smart room.  This person will decide if the request is in alignment with the goals and strategies of the resource that they manage.  Requests submitted after the deadline will be treated by the IT dept. as a project, and will be completed as soon as possible.

INSTALL MICROSOFT OFFICE PRODUCTS

UAM Faculty and Staff have the option to load Microsoft software on home machines for school-related activities. 

1. Login to your UAM Email using the web

2. Click on Office 365 (top left corner of page)

Install Office on your PC, smartphone, or iPad information will display; you can now install Office products

Understanding Copyright before using or distributing electronic media is very important and UAM takes violations seriously and are punishable by law.  If you are unsure, you can email UAM’s IT dept. chief information officer (CIO) for clarification.
