We are continuously seeking qualified instructors to teach non-credit community education programs.

We are looking for day, evening and weekend instructors. Individuals interested in teaching community education courses should be knowledgeable of their subject area. They should have the ability to facilitate a classroom of as many as 30 students, as well as be able to provide individual instruction and attention. In compliance with UAM Operating Procedure 297.1 regarding the protection of minors on campus, individuals who will be instructing minor children must also submit to a criminal background check and complete an online mandated reporter training prior to the beginning of the course.

We release four community education schedules each year and new programs are added each time. Course ideas and proposals are gladly welcomed. To submit a course for consideration, complete a course proposal form.  We will also host our third Kids’ University July 11 – 14, 2016.  There will be a morning session for children entering 1st – 3rd grade and an afternoon session for children entering 4th – 6th grade.  Please complete a Kids’ University proposal form if you wish to offer your course as a part of this program.  Completed forms should be returned to:
