Discussion: Membership
Increasing membership is critical. Donald Orban will send a letter to all Basic Course Directors in the Southern States.
Discussion: Possible Convention Topics
- Competitive paper panels
- Panel: Top four papers
- Poster board of experiential vehicles
- Spotlight program or Single Scholar
- In Atlanta, invite CDC to discuss "What can we do in the AIDS crisis"
- Town Hall Debate or Discussion (sponsor with another division)
- Program on pedagogy (Teaching the interpersonal course)
- Co-sponsor with Language and Social Interaction or with Communication Theory
- Panel that begins with opening comments and the audience
responds in general discussion.
- We may not wish to have respondents for all panels; let the audience join in the discussion.
Other discussion:
There will be a call for papers. Bill Edwards will issue this call in EMPATHY, as well.
Discussion of the ramifications of the forming of the Interpersonal Division.
