Chi Iota Sigma Receives Endowed Scholarship Fund

In honor to his parents, Dr. James Roiger established the Raymond O. and Loretta J. Roiger Endowed Small Scholarship Fund for Chi Iota Sigma in December, with matching funds from the UAM Foundation.
The small scholarships, commonly referred to as "Book Stipends," are awarded to eligible Chi Iota Sigma club members every May and December for the following semester. The awardees are selected by the Division Scholarship committee from those eligible members who apply. The number of and the amounts of the Book Stipends are determined by the endowment proceeds and by scholarship donations intended for Chi Iota Sigma.

Chi Iota Sigma Homecoming Spirit Wall
October 20, 2008, by DeAnna Moore
Chi Iota Sigma created a spirit wall for the Weevils homecoming game. DeAnna Moore came up with the theme, which was "Hack the Tigers", and Christin Harrison created a very cute design for the chosen theme. The spirit wall painting took place on Monday, October 13, 2008 from 10am to 6pm. Needless to say, the CIS Club did not need that much time! They were done by approximately 2:30pm. Thank you to everyone that helped! It looked great!
