Food Drive Successful

For the last couple of years the CIS club has collected canned goods to give to the community for Thanksgiving. This year we collected about 1200 cans compared to 733 cans last year. We delivered the cans to Holmes Chapel where they were used to prepare a Thanksgiving meal for anyone who wanted to attend. Rev. Branch said the cans were very helpful. Along with the holiday meals the church provides a meal every Wednesday night for the community. The club would like to thank everyone that participated.

Halloween and Homecoming Activities

In the past few weeks the CIS club has become very active on campus. We participated in the Pumpkin Decorating contest. Our focus was a haunted house. Michael Arnold, Tillie Russell, Joseph Friend, and Melanie Burch helped to decorate the pumpkin. We captured 3rd place.
We participated in Homecoming Week by decorating a Spirit Wall. We had many ideas but went with "Toast The Tigers". Tillie Russell, Timmy McCorkle and Mrs. Marsh started decorating at 11:00. Michael Arnold and Melanie Burch arrived at 12:00 and then at 1:00 Mrs. Harris joined in the fun.
