Oral Communication Units and Activities

PERSONAL COLLAGE

Unit(s): Interpersonal Communication

Purpose:

students to share things about themselves with the class

Objective:

For students to create and present a collage which helps express who they are.

Materials:

Magazines to be cut up

Scissors

Glue

Construction paper

Procedure:

Students are to design a collage of pictures (and/or words) which indicate who they are.

Students will share these in groups or in front of the classroom.

An alternative assignment might be for them to design a mask or a tee shirt.
