Purpose:
To improve voice and diction
Objective:
The students will be able to write and perform a public service announcement, emphasizing pronunciation and articulation.
Materials:
1. Sample P.S.A.:
Helping an adult learn to read. Sitting with an elderly person. Selling snacks at the Special Olympics. These are only a few ways that you can help others in your community. Offer your services to others for a few hours a week. It takes so little to be a volunteer. And the personal rewards last a long time. Be a volunteer. It will make you feel great.

2. Cassette tape and tape player
Procedure:
- Discuss possible subjects for topics. Talk about appropriateness of topics.
- Each student should choose a topic and write a one minute P.S.A.
- Each student will perform the P.S.A. Record the performances for playback.
- Have students evaluate each P.S.A. when listening to playback.
