MONTICELLO, AR — Jacob Chisom of Monticello, Reagan Dobbs of Dayton, Tex., and Cody Bijou of Crosby, Tex., combined to win three championships for the University of Arkansas at Monticello at the Golden Eagle Invitational Debate Tournament hosted recently by John Brown University in Siloam Springs.
MONTICELLO, AR — The University of Arkansas at Monticello named 171 students to the Chancellor's List for the fall semester and another 349 students to the Dean's List, according to Carol Dolberry, registrar. Selection to the Chancellor's List requires a grade point average of 4.0 on at least 12 semester hours of course credit at the 1000-4000 level. The Dean's List requires a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, also on at least 12 semester hours of course credit at the 1000-4000 level.

MONTICELLO, AR — Three political science students at the University of Arkansas at Monticello participated in the first World Congress on Undergraduate Research (WCUR) hosted by the National Council for Undergraduate Research (CUR) at Qatar University in Doha, Qatar, November 13-15.

Chisom reached the round of 16 in the varsity debate competition while Adkins and Hargis each reached the final 16 in junior varsity debate. Chisom and Graves reached the semifinals in team debate.
