MONTICELLO, AR — The University of Arkansas at Monticello has received approval for its first 100 percent online undergraduate degree program. The UA Board of Trustees and the Higher Education Coordinating Board have approved a bachelor of science degree in education studies, which will be offered totally online. The non-licensure program may be taken by anyone but is designed for non-traditional students unable to return to school and for public school paraprofessionals.
MONTICELLO, AR — The debate team at the University of Arkansas at Monticello captured the Arkansas state championship and placed second overall in the Southern Regional Debate and Forensics Championship Tournament held recently at Louisiana State University-Shreveport. The event attracted teams representing 22 colleges and universities from Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi.

Aramark Campus Dining Services will feature international meals from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day that week. MONTICELLO, AR — The University of Arkansas at Monticello named 178 students to the Chancellor's List for the fall semester and another 271 students to the Dean's List, according to Carol Dolberry, registrar. Selection to the Chancellor's List requires a grade point average of 4.0 on at least 12 semester hours of course credit at the 1000-4000 level. The Dean's List requires a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, also on at least 12 semester hours of course credit at the 1000-4000 level.
