A new institutional scholarship will be awarded for the first time in fall 2019. Current students who have earned at least 30 hours at UAM and who have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA are eligible to apply for the Student Achievement Scholarship. To be considered for the award, students must first complete the general scholarship application through AcademicWorks before submitting the specific Student Achievement Scholarship application, also within AcademicWorks. "This new institutional scholarship will be competitive among incoming sophomore, junior and senior students," according to Tyler Harrison, scholarship coordinator. Because the pool of applicants is expected to be high-achieving, students will submit an essay and references as part of the application. Complete eligibility guidelines and application information can be found at UAMont.AcademicWorks.com or by contacting the Office of Financial Aid at (870) 460-1050 or firstname.lastname@example.org. The final deadline is August 15.
