Explore Arkansas: The ArkMoPhs 5th Annual Phonegraphy Exhibit On Display At UAM Now Through October 29

            MONTICELLO, AR — "Explore Arkansas: The ArkMoPhs 5th Annual Phonegraphy Exhibit is on display now through October 29 in the Glassblock Gallery of the Taylor Library and Technology Center.

            The exhibit was created in 2014 when smartphone photographer Tommy Wallace wanted to feature the work of his ArkMoPhs Instagram community. That year, 30 photos were selected by a jury panel of four individuals in the photography and arts fields. Since the first ArkMoPhs Explore Arkansas Exhibit in North Little Rock's Mug Cafe, there have been four more at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, A Conversation Piece in Russellville, the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub in North Little Rock, and the Batesville Area Arts Council.

            The 2018 exhibit features 30 photos divided among the categories of people, places and things of Arkansas. Also included in the exhibition are four photos from the ArkMoPhs leadership team.

            Gallery hours are Monday and Wednesday, 10 to 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 4:20 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 8 to 11 a.m. and 2:30 to 4:20 p.m., and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
