The 2016 practical nursing graduates of the UAM College of Technology-Crossett achieved a 100 percent pass rate on the National Council Licensure Exam for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). Sixteen of the last 21 practical nursing classes from the Crossett campus have had a 100 percent pass rate on the NCLEX-PN. Linda Rushing, vice chancellor of the Crossett campus, commended Shela Upshaw and Kayla Noble for the practical nursing program’s continued success. Upshaw has directed the practical nursing program and served as an instructor since 1997. Noble is a graduate of UAM COT-Crossett’s practical nursing program and joined the faculty as a clinical instructor in January.
