UAM Small Business Center To Host Seminars In Dumas and Pine Bluff

MONTICELLO, AR — How to write a business plan and learning more about business loan applications are the subjects of a pair of seminars to be hosted in March by the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

            Representatives from UAM’s ASBTDC will be at Southeast Arkansas College in Pine Bluff on March 10 from 9 to 11 a.m. to assist business owners in crafting business plans to help define their business concept, evaluate competition, determine risks and estimate costs. Cost of the seminar is $35.

            A seminar entitled “What’s in a Business Loan Application” will be held March 22 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Dumas Community Center. The seminar will focus on correctly completing the paperwork necessary to apply for a business loan. Cost of the seminar is $20.
