UAM To Hold Commencement Exercises May 8

The University of Arkansas at Monticello will present degrees to the class of 2015 during commencement exercises on Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Steelman Fieldhouse.

Guest speakers for the event include Distinguished Alumnus Donnie King of Springdale, the president of North American Operations and Food Service for Tyson Foods, Jay Jones, interim chancellor of UAM, and C. C. "Cliff" Gibson of the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees.  Degrees to be presented during the 10 a.m. session are: the Master of Fine Arts, all master's degrees presented by the School of Education, and undergraduate degrees in the Schools of Agriculture, Arts and Humanities, Business, Computer Information Systems, and Education.

Degrees presented during the 2 p.m. session are: the Master of Forestry, and undergraduates degrees in the Schools of Forestry and Natural Resources, Mathematical and Natural Sciences, Nursing, Social and Behavioral Science, and the Division of General Studies.
