Bryan Daugherty (right) of White Hall, a network administrator at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, is presented a Boll Weevil green iPod Nano by Jay Jones, vice chancellor for finance and administration, for providing the winning entry in a contest to name UAM’s new campus-wide computer network. Daugherty’s winning entry – Weevilnet – was chosen from among 121 submissions to the contest. Synch-Solutions, Inc., which is providing the new campus system software and assisting with the conversion, provided the iPod.
