UAM Sets Fall Registration Dates (8/9/09)

MONTICELLO, AR — The University of Arkansas at Monticello will hold registration for the fall semester August 24-25 at its campuses in Monticello, Crossett and McGehee.     
             
Students not currently admitted should apply on line at www.uamont.edu or apply at one of the three campus locations to expedite the registration process.
             
At the Monticello campus, first-time freshmen and transfer students who have not completed the registration process may register for classes on Monday, August 24 after attending a mandatory orientation session. Registration begins at 1 p.m. in Harris Hall.  The Monticello campus will also have night registration on Monday, August 24 from 5 to 7 p.m. in Harris Hall for graduate students and students taking only night classes.  Open registration for all students taking classes on the Monticello campus will be held on Tuesday, August 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. New and former students will be advised and registered in Harris Hall. All other students will visit their assigned academic advisor.
             
The UAM Colleges of Technology at Crossett and McGehee will hold mandatory orientation sessions for first-time freshmen and transfer students at 1 p.m. on Monday, August 24 in the Student Center on each campus. An open registration for students at both campuses will be held on Tuesday, August 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the respective Student Centers.  Night-only students and Monticello graduate students may register at Crossett and McGehee between 5 and 7 p.m. on August 24.
            
Late registration at the Monticello, Crossett, and McGehee campuses will be held from August 26 through September 1.  There is a $25 late registration fee.
             
Classes at all three locations begin Wednesday, August 26.
