UAM To Host 2011 Boll Weevil Stampede Rodeo March 31- April 2

MONTICELLO, AR — More than 200 rodeo cowboys and cowgirls from 13 colleges and universities will compete at the 2011 Boll Weevil Stampede hosted by the University of Arkansas at Monticello March 31 through April 2.
            Competition begins each evening at 7 p.m. at the Drew County Fairgrounds. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for UAM students with I.D. and children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under.
            Collegiate rodeo teams expected to participate include UAM, Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas, East Mississippi Community College, Mississippi State, Missouri State, Missouri Valley, Murray State, North Arkansas College, Northwest Mississippi Community College, Southern Arkansas, Tennessee-Martin, Troy, and West Alabama.
