Agriculture Technology

The Agriculture Technology Program teaches students the necessary occupational skills vital to personal interaction and employment operations. It trains prospective farm managers and owners in agriculture production management methods.  A student completing the program should work as an apprentice with a successful farm manager in order to be competent as a farm manager and/or farm owner. 

We have two options in the Agriculture Department:

  1. Agriculture Technology Technical Certificate, courses listed below.
  2. Associate of Applied Science in Agriculture Production Management, additional requirements listed below.

Associate of Applied Science in Agriculture Production Management

Students wishing to obtain an Associate of Applied Science in Agriculture Technology Degree must complete the 42 semester hours of course work required for the Agriculture Technology Technical Certificate and the following courses for a total of 63 credit hours.
