University’s commitment to equal education opportunities.
Library staff will locate needed information for individuals
with disabilities and will place the needed material in the hands of the patron.
Most of the library microform readers are equipped with
enlarging lenses, which will allow visually impaired patrons to use the
microform collection.
Computer workstations are wheelchair accessible.
Library personnel will perform searches on electronic
resources when patrons cannot do so for themselves.
Restrooms are wheelchair accessible.
Library assistance is available in opening doors and in
carrying library materials.
Individuals are encouraged to schedule a one-on-one research
session with a reference librarian (Sandra Campbell, Helen Guenter, Mary Heady,
Kathy Davis, or Lanee Dunlap).
