Posted by Human Relations on Monday, August 13, 2012 8:23 AM University of Arkansas at Monticello The University of Arkansas at Monticello, Department of Student Health and the Department of Recreation & Intramurals, is seeking applicants for the position of Recreation/Wellness Coordinator. All applicants must be admitted or eligible for admissions into an approved graduate program of study. The successful candidate will work for the University of Arkansas at Monticello as a non-benefits eligible staff member and be granted time for graduate course work and class attendance. Responsibilities: The Recreation/Wellness Coordinator will assist with the administration of the following services: Intramurals/Recreation and Exercise/Cardio Center. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Training and supervision of referees and recreation area attendants, wellness screening, field management, equipment inventory, health and wellness programming, data reporting, special event planning, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Intramurals or Director of Student Health Services. Evening and some weekend hours required. Qualifications: Must be admitted or eligible for admissions into an approved graduate program of study; and excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively and with diverse populations. Compensation: Tuition and fee payment (at the applicable pre-approved rate); monthly stipend of $500; private residential room w/private entrance; and partial University meal plan (15 meals per week). The graduate assistant position is a non-benefits eligible position on a twelve-month schedule with a maximum scheduled employment not to exceed two years.
