Juan D. Serna is an assistant professor in the School of Mathematical and Natural Sciences at University of Arkansas-Monticello. He completed his PhD. in 2005 under the direction of Julio Gea-Banacloche at University of Arkansas. His research interests are in Mathematical Physics and Quantum Optics. He is responsible for the Pre-Engineering program at UAM.
In his free time, he likes to play the violin and enjoys programming computers. He is originally from Colombia.
