Basketball 2001-02:
Amber averaged 32.4 minutes per game along with 11.2 points and 4.5
rebounds per game...set a career high of 26 points against Montevallo in
a game played at Drew Central High School...was sidelined by an injury
just 13 games into the season.
High School:
Amber was a three-sport athlete at Drew Central High School...was named
All-District and All-Region in basketball her senior year, was also
recognized as the Most Valuable Player...Amber was named All-State and
participated in the Arkansas All-Star Game in basketball as a
senior...was named the Pine Bluff Commercial Southeast Arkansas Player
of the Year in 2000-01...was also All-State in tennis, softball, and
cross coutnry...Amber was the valedictorian of her senior class at Drew
Central as well as a member of the National Honor Society and Science
Club.
Personal:
Amber Lynn Terry was born May 25, 1983...the daughter of head coach Fred
and Joy Cooper...the wife of assistant coach Matt Terry...majoring in
biology.
