2004-05 Women's
Basketball: Played in 28 games, starting 13...scored a season-high
eight points in a gutwrenching loss to Central Arkansas...averaged 2.6
points and 1.7 rebounds per game...picked up two blocks (the first of
her career), earning one against Arkansas Tech and another against
Alabama-Huntsville in the Gulf South Conference tournament.
2003-04 Women's
Basketball: Played in 26
games, averaging 5.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game... hit for a
career-high 14 points against Miles College (12/29) and then again
against Central Arkansas (1/26)... in both games drained four
3-pointers... grabbed a career-high nine rebounds versus Central Baptist
(12/5), also added a season-high two steals ... dished out a season-high
four assists against Puerto Rico-Cayey (11/19).
2002-03 Women's
Basketball: Played in 19
games, averaging 1.9 points and 1.6 rebounds per game... finished with a
season high 11 points against Southern Arkansas (2/20)... had a season
high five rebounds at Delta State (2/15) and Southern Arkansas (1/23).
High School: Ashley was a four-year letter winner in basketball at class 2A Kingsland High School… as
a junior and senior she was All-Conference, All-Region, All-State and
Honorable Mention All-Arkansas Team… during high school Ashley averaged
15 points, three rebounds and three steals a game… was a member of the
Arkansas Angels team for three years, and her team finished third in
nationals… Ashley was the valedictorian of her high school, as well as
class president.
Personal: Ashley, who is a
Criminal Justice major, is the
daughter of Joe and Loraine May… she was born March 25, 1983.
